VMWare as a Host Directory

By following this integration guide, you can add VMWare vSphere (ESXi or vCenter Server) or VMWare Cloud as a host directory in PrivX. This allows discovering and providing access to your VMWare instances via PrivX.

📘 HOST TAGS

For performance reasons, PrivX utilizes the VMWare host's Notes field (Annotations) to detect and parse host tags, rather than using the Tags field. Kindly define your host tags in the Notes field and check the "Import host instance tags from the directory" option to activate tag parsing.
