Error: New Cloned Host Cannot Be Deployed

When deploying a new cloned host in a PrivX environment, the error message Host cannot be redeployed is shown.

Each on-premises host is identified by a unique machine-id. If the host's machine-id cannot be resolved -- for example, because of ID conflicts --, the deployment script will fail.

Potential Solution

Regenerate the unique machine-id on the cloned host, as instructed here.
